Growing up in New Jersey within a real estate family, where my father owned his own firm, granted me unique insights into the real estate business from a young age. In 1971, my husband and I relocated to the North Country, both securing teaching positions. I taught high school English until our children were born, at which point I ventured into direct selling for Partylite for 25 years, eventually achieving the position of Regional Vice President. In 2013, I transitioned to the real estate industry, joining Gallus & Green Realtors and quickly establishing myself as one of the office’s leading listing agents.
What I find most rewarding in real estate is the joy I experience when a buyer’s eyes light up, signaling that we’ve found them the perfect property, or when I’ve assisted them in achieving their goal of selling. I strongly believe in providing excellent customer service, emphasizing attentive listening to the client’s desires and maintaining open lines of communication. This philosophy is at the core of my approach to connecting buyers and sellers.
Beyond real estate, I am a former president of the Berlin AVH Hospital Auxiliary and a former member of the Dummer School Board. My husband and I have actively participated in the Mt. Washington Valley Stompers, a well-established square-dancing club located in the Conway area. Adding another dimension to my interests, I have authored four mysteries and one historical fiction novel set in the North Country. When not writing, I engage in cycling and vegetable gardening. Currently, I am involved in promoting the creation of a local Androscoggin Food Co-op, dedicated to providing a community-owned market that expands healthy food options, locally sourced whenever possible.
As a “green” realtor, I advocate for the use of alternative energy sources and proudly carry the NAR’s Green Designation, signifying my training in green buildings and sustainable business practices. My commitment extends beyond real estate, aligning with community engagement, environmental consciousness, and a passion for promoting healthy, sustainable living.
